Lignum Vitae North America was awarded a contract to supply a Water Lubricated Main Guide Bearing for the Mechanicsville plant located in New York. Lignum Vitae North America is pleased to continue servicing Mechanicsville by providing maximum uptime and lower maintenance cost.  The existing turbines use Lignum-Vitae bearings. This plant has been in operation since 1898. This is an excellent example of an environmentally responsible efficient hydro power plant.
