Lignum Vitae North America was awarded a contract to supply a Water Lubricated Main Guide Bearing for Duke Power. Lignum Vitae North America is pleased to continue servicing Duke by providing maximum uptime and lower maintenance cost.  The existing the 22 MW G.E units use Lignum-Vitae bearings. This plant has been in operation since 1912. This is an excellent example of environmentally responsible efficient hydro power plant.
